About Us

CAM is the College-Age Ministry of Blackhawk Church in Madison, WI. We exist to build a community that inspires movement toward Jesus and the Church. We accomplish this by connecting students to scripture, the church and each other.

Weekly Gatherings

We meet downtown at Upper House on Tuesdays at 8 PM throughout the school year for teaching, worship, and connection. CAM offers a variety of ways for students to learn and grow through small groups, trips, tight community and service.

CAM is a Registered Student Organization of the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

We welcome everyone, regardless of your beliefs. These beliefs are at our core:

There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is true God and true man. He lived a perfect life and died on the cross, a sacrifice for our sins. He arose bodily from the dead.

All people have sin in their lives and need God’s forgiveness. Those who trust in Jesus Christ and Him alone for their salvation become true members of the body of Christ.

The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and to indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service.

At the end, everyone will experience bodily resurrection and the judgment. Those who have faith in Christ will enjoy eternal fellowship with God.

When he’s not visiting most coffee shops in town, you’ll find Michael either running, cycling, aspiring to be a dog owner, or hanging with college students.
